Mojo Monday Challenge #205

Here's the Mojo Monday challenge card. If you'd like to play along, you can upload your creation until Sunday 8pm. Here's mine . . . .

The paper is BasicGrey™ Curio 6x6 paper pad with the edge punches from EK Success and the coloring done with some Distress™ inks and Tombow™ markers (colors show in pic below). The cute little love birds are from my stash of clear stamps.

That's all for now, have a great day!

Cool Technique

I was visiting some of the blogs that are in my favorites this morning and found a technique that is worthy of sharing. At Yours Artfully you can see how to do this very cool technique using Distress inks and a ribbler. The post is from about this time last year and I finally got around to backtracking Lin's blog. She does some beautiful work and worth the time to view her blog fully when you have the time.

I know I'll be trying out this technique later today. Have fun with it!

Thanks

Going through my stash, I found this little girl that I had colored using Copic markers just after receiving the markers early last year. So the coloring technique here isn't all that good and I can honestly say that I've improved a lot over the past year. The little girl is called "untamed" by Sugar Nellie. Since the graphic was colored so long ago, I'm not sure of the exact Copic colors used on this one. Distress inks are used in the background and a clear glitter gel pen is over the word "Thanks" but the camera didn't pick it up.

The layout is this month's Sketch For You To Try. Visit this post for all the participation details and to link up your entry. You have until the end of the month to play along.

Thanks for visiting!
