This past Saturday I went to the StampScrapArtTour in Columbia, SC with my sister, niece and friend. We all had a great time and I got lots of new goodies to bring home. Among those goodies are some Tim Holtz products that I've been wanting to get. I went nuts at the Stampers Anonymous booth looking through all the old and new products that were on display. Here's a look at the Tim stuff . . . .
There was also another booth I had a fantastic time going through, the Artful Illusions booth. They had such wonderful stamps and all kinds of little trinkets that were a crafters dream. Check them out and see for yourself. Can't wait to use all the new things I brought home. You'll see some of them on this blog soon.
Till then . . . . . .

Light Box
Good Morning! Here's a quickie card I made last night. I love the look of the distress inks being splashed with water droplets that is used in the background. Yes, Distress Inks are one of my all time favorites. If I had to give up everything in my craft room and only able to keep one thing, Distress Inks would be my choice. They are so versitile and I have a ton of fun playing with them.
You'll notice the photo isn't the best. Yes, I came to the realization that a lightbox is in order. So last night after scanning the internet for the best, reasonably priced one I could find, one was ordered. Keeping my fingers crossed that the lightbox will improve my pics. Looking forward to it's arrival. Thanks for visit.

New Blog - First Post
Hello Friends!
This is my first post in what I hope will be many to come. I have started this blog in an effort to share some creative ideas and to help inspire others. So to begin - here is a card that would work well for both a man or a woman.
Papers used from DCWV (Old World & Mariposa) along with Tim Holtz tissue tape, distress inks and a Magenta stamp of birds. Inside shown below.
This being my first post, I have to say, I feel a bit like a duck out of water. But I'm looking forward to where ever this path will lead me. Thanks for visiting and I look foward to hearing your comments. Have a great day!
